Catheter Ablation for Arrhythmias

Gold Coast specialist treatment for atrial fibrillation, SVT, PVCs and ventricular tachycardia.

Service Overview

Targeted treatment for
abnormal heart rhythms

Catheter ablation is a procedure used to treat certain heart rhythm disorders by targeting the areas of heart tissue responsible for abnormal electrical signals.

Dr Ben Hunt provides specialist assessment and treatment planning for catheter ablation of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, premature ventricular contractions and ventricular tachycardia.

Catheter ablation may be recommended when symptoms are ongoing, medications are not suitable or effective, or when a more targeted treatment approach is needed.
